Tribute to Terry Fales

The rodeo family lost a favored member,
He has been called up on High,
He is now announcing that Rodeo in the Sky,
We lost Terry Fales.

We lost a friend, who has known us all,
You never met a stranger,
You saw everyone as Rodeo family.

You would sit up in that crow’s nest, keeping the crowd entranced,
You made the arena the most exciting drama,
You made us bigger than life every time we took our turn at competing.

You knew who we are beyond cowboys,
You had nicknames for us all,
You made us human to the crowd.

So Fairy Tales, Lacy J is Good Bye and Thank you for all those stories and memories,
I am sure I will see you at the Rodeo in the Sky,
